Training and Education
Overview
London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is one of Canada’s largest research-intensive acute care teaching hospitals with a commitment to educating the next generation of health-care professionals and scientists. At London Health Sciences Centre Research Institute (LHSCRI), we offer a wide range of training for health research learners – providing educational opportunities directly where patient care is delivered.
Expertise
Research at LHSCRI provides undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with opportunities to train in a basic science or clinical setting under the supervision of a researcher. Most training opportunities are coordinated through our academic partner at Western University, with many positions affiliated with divisions of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
We strive to be a place where students can learn, discover, and acquire skills to achieve their academic and personal goals. Our commitment to providing a safe, healthy and inclusive learning environment inspires teamwork, compassion, curiosity and accountability.
